Kitchen Fresh!

I spotted this kitchen and knew right away that this was a pic worth sharing! I absolutely love the fresh vibe this kitchen gives. The mint green chairs add a classy vintage vibe and the wall colors are the perfect combination of cool and warm! And, of course, the open and exposed dishes... so cottage fresh!!

I love the look of this spice rack! So fresh!

I also loved the mint paint on the walls in this kitchen. I'm usually not crazy about stainless steel, but there are always exceptions as in this kitchen. It actually flows so well with the color scheme adding to the fresh look!Fresh at its freshest! Love it.

Keeping Busy!

I'm so excited that my husband finally comes home this Friday! He has been away for 5 weeks now and I have been keeping myself very busy with so many different things! It has been great to be able to spend so much time with my family and to actually have garage sale buddies! Usually I go alone (my husband goes occasionally, but only when I make him feel guilty for letting me go all by myself haha) and it has been so much fun! Some of my projects have included:

I LOVED this print and thought it would look adorable in a nursery.

I also just bought these candlesticks and am excited to start working on them!
Any ideas besides white? I was thinking maybe some kind of an aqua shade? Maybe I can make them Christmas candlesticks?

I also have been working a ton on the whole "Christmas in July" deal.. I LOVE Christmas! I have started on some of the cutest projects and will be adding tons to the website starting tomorrow! It's never too early to start planning for Christmas!

Serendipity!

So I finally got to experience Old Town's Serendipity for the first time last weekend! I had heard all about it, but never knew where it was until Denise at Hope Tree Studio came to my rescue! I went with my sister Caitlin and thought we were in heaven!
Isn't this little cabinet just adorable?

I think my favorite part of the store was the patio entrance. The cutest patio/garden decor ever!

I ended up purchasing an old rickety picket fence. I will be going back shortly to purchase a chandelier I also fell in love with. Serendipity, I will be back!

In Love

I am in love. Meet the new settee of my dreams!
Isn't he beautiful? And the pillows are absolutely stunning-- the perfect finishing touch! Anyone remember when I posted about a settee a couple months back? Well, I STILL haven't found my dream settee. I did, however, find an awesome antique chair that I will post when I get a chance to snap a pic. It's my next project! It needs reupholstering and a paint job which I am a little hesitant to start because I don't exactly know the layout of my new home yet! I say "new home" but we have yet to find our new home. I am waiting for my hubby to get back into town to start the hunt! It's much more fun to do with a partner!! In the meanwhile, my partner for all other activities has been my trusty companion, Winston.
The second love of my life.

I found this pic in a Pottery Barn magazine several years ago and just came across it in my "home ideas" binder. Just thought I would share because it is such a lovely little set up!
Hope everyone had a fabulous and safe 4th of July!
