Perfect Match
Finally got around to posting pictures of the finished chair! Found the chair at an estate sale.. couldn't pass it up! The fabric I recovered it in is the same fabric I used on the prism lamp 2 posts back. Do you think I should paint the chair frame or leave it peeling gold? I can't decide!!

The most tedious part.. removing the hundreds of staples...
Finished Results!
To paint or not to paint???

Bedrest & Dreaming
Just when I thought I had my life back, (after a pretty horrible first trimester of pregnancy) I had a wonderful past 10 days full of 3 trips to the ER, 2 painful trips to the OB, and 1 to the general doctor. Lovely. I have been on bedrest (I have no other choice since I am not too capable of walking right now) but am now able to sit up without pain hence my first request being the laptop!! I have missed the Internet world and am glad to be back (until the next episode of this glamourous pregnancy).
With that said, here is some eye candy I have saved to my favorites folder.. enjoy! (Oh, and yes, I did actually reupholster the chair to match the lampshades in my last post, but haven't been able to download the pics quite yet... hopefully soon!)

Airy Bathrooms...
I love the white beadboard walls paired with the vintage table! Such country charm!

Beautiful wainscoting, neutral wall color, perfectly contrasting wood floors, and a gorgeous french door...yum!!

To die for old-fashioned look maintains its airy and freshness. Great techniques for turning old into new again!
