I am SO excited June is here! Can you believe it is basically summer already!? I feel like it was just the 4th of July a few months ago! I just wanted to share some of my new Shabby Addict 4th of July/summer goodies with everyone! Not everything is on the website yet, so if you are interested in any of the items, just email me! I will also be doing a give-away next week, so watch for that! Am I doing a lot of exclamation marks in this post? Sorry, but I just get so excited!! ; )
I am so excited to be starting so many new projects this summer- I can barely contain myself! I have a whole summer "to do" list that I will finally be able to start in the next few weeks. Some of those things include painting and sewing seat covers for my antique cane back chairs, refinishing a cute little nightstand/dresser that I purchased on Craigslist over a month ago, and creating a new headboard for our bed!
I am also looking forward to the July issue of Romantic Home as it will be a special "bed and bath" edition! It will only be sold in the stands so be sure to pick it up! I am hoping it will inspire new ideas for the new home!!
Happy Summer sweetie, I wish i could say it was nicer weather here, just so much gloomy skies, rain, but life is good and the grass is green and flowers are bloomin! Thank the lord! Have a wonderful day thanks for the visit! XO Diana Lyn
I love those Christmas items! I don't care what time of the year it is, I love seeing anything for Christmas! Makes me feel nice and cool on a hot day like today! Those are also very cool flags! I love Americana.
Thanks for visiting my blog and for the nice comment about my shop.I wish all the great people I blog with could visit and have a Girls' Night Out! Wouldn't that be fun!
I was thinking the same thing -- how could it be June already?! My youngest will be finished school in less than 2 weeks and it seems like only yesterday he was on summer vacation!!
You've added some lovely 4th of July items to your shop -- and it sounds like you have some busy summer creating ahead of you!
"I see therefore I want." Something my dad would always say when we were little and would see something we wanted. He would sit down to eat breakfast. I would see. I would want. Naturally. He would then reply with his trademark "I see therefore I want". Who knows where he picked that one up from. He has a ton of weird dadisms (don't even get me started) but this one always stuck. So here's to you dad. A blog dedicated to all the things I see on a daily basis that I decide I must have. Or at least want. I guess he's right. If I didn't see it, I wouldn't want it. Too bad I saw it. Because now I want it.
