Keeping Busy!

I'm so excited that my husband finally comes home this Friday! He has been away for 5 weeks now and I have been keeping myself very busy with so many different things! It has been great to be able to spend so much time with my family and to actually have garage sale buddies! Usually I go alone (my husband goes occasionally, but only when I make him feel guilty for letting me go all by myself haha) and it has been so much fun! Some of my projects have included:

I LOVED this print and thought it would look adorable in a nursery.

I also just bought these candlesticks and am excited to start working on them!
Any ideas besides white? I was thinking maybe some kind of an aqua shade? Maybe I can make them Christmas candlesticks?

I also have been working a ton on the whole "Christmas in July" deal.. I LOVE Christmas! I have started on some of the cutest projects and will be adding tons to the website starting tomorrow! It's never too early to start planning for Christmas!

White is also great but I like your idea of aqua and then distressing them and then put white candles in them.

Glad your hubby is coming home and that you have kept yourself busy. I have a hubby that travels and it's not always easy.

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

Thanks for coming by and leaving your comment. I hope you enjoy your sewing classes.
I like the idea of aqua candle holders. I pictured red candles in them for Christmastime but white would be very pretty too!

All of your projects turned out so pretty, love the note board. I have the same fabric! I'm glad your husband is coming home, 5 weeks is a long time, I was gone for 2 weeks and I was so homesick! You had left me a message about my aqua table I painted , I thought I'd tell you the paint color is Cool Aqua from Valspar(Lowes) just in case you need it for something. I always like to know the paint colors, it's hard to find the right shades sometimes!Good luck on your house hunting.

That's wonderful your husband's coming home. Love your projects. I think I'd paint the candlesticks a very pale aqua, that would be pretty.

I had to giggle to myself when you said you finally have flea market buddies - I usually go it alone myself and I do the guilt thing with my hubby as well (he does love the books though).

Have you been back to Serendipity yet?

Hi there!
So happy your sweet hubby is coming home at last, it has been hard in the past when mine has been gone, the last time it was almost a year!! AWFUL!!! I will have to read back to see how your move went, I have not been blogging for weeks, I deleted my old blog and am starting over...pop over for a visit!
XO,
Donna Lynn

Hi Sweetie! I miss my husband too when he has those rare times when he has to go out of town on business. But I always manage to get a lot of projects done while he is away...wonder what that means? ;) hee hee. Loved your project too! Especially the memory board. I need to do a project like that too. Thanks for sharing! ~ xoxo ~ Joy
