Remember these little fellas?

I decided to go the aqua-ish light blue route with a hint of white. Instead of buffing in the white, I just took white spray paint and lightly sprayed over it. I didn't distress at all. I may decide to in the future. I'm thinking about adding prisms, but I'm not sure yet. As for right now, this project is complete!

My next project consisted of an old antique stool that belonged to my deceased grandmother. My younger sister snagged it (before I could!) and asked me to help her refinish it so she could take it up to her college apartment. Her bedspread is a pretty satin pink with rhinestones so we wanted it to somewhat coordinate.

After:

The best part about these projects? Neither of them took longer than 60 minutes total, and that includes the drying of paint! Now those are the kind of projects I like!!

I love the candlesticks painted aqua, they look yummy and that footstool is absolutely adorable. You need to pull rank on your sister for that one.

Love the aqua candlesticks, I am moving into a new home and thinking about some aqua and beige in one of my new bathrooms, thanks for the inspiration!

Your sister will be soooo popular at college with that adorable foot stool.

Thanks for sharing and lets try to meet next month for La Maison Rustique!!

They turned out beautiful. I wish I could do a project or two in little bit of time. I'm afraid it would take me two days. But you've inspired me!

Love both projects. I LOVE how quickly we can repurpose things. I tend to put a coat on things. Run an errand, come home, do another coat.
I particularly love that stool. Did you spray it too?

I have a boring bench, but have been wanting to paint it for awhile.

The Shabby Addict parcel has been received at My Petite Maison. You know me, half the fun of it is looking at the beautiful wrapping and knowing it's there for me to open. I promise I'll unwrap everything tomorrow. Your packaging is so cute!

Merci!

60 minutes each? As in one hour each? To make these gorgeous pieces out of what others consider "trash"!?! You are a.m.a.z.i.n.g.!!!!

Now I have to ask you what kind of paint and colour did you use to paint the stool?
Thank you for sharing great inspirations.
