The Start of my 10 Mile Long Project List

The hardest part about moving into a new home is the overwhelming feeling of "where the heck do I start???". There are SO many projects and things to get done and the list can be SO overwhelming! Well, this weekend I decided to tackle one thing at a time.

First things first- buffet fun!!
(Note: This is not the before shot of my actual buffet! I didn't take one!! I hate when I forget to take befores! But this is what it looked like before...!)
And topped it off with a little bit of Fall flavor ; )
This is my little tall ghost man. One of my favorite Halloween decorations.

Easy apothecary jar projects...

Setting up a little of the family room...

And a little bit of barn wood love...

Still have white walls because I'm a chicken and can't decide what color to paint the walls!!! This is one of my next projects!

I lover what you did to your buffet. I have to paint my dining room set and don't know where to begin. How exactly did you paint and with what kind of paint.

Also that sofa is to die for!!

You are so lucky to have such a beautiful new home! I'm sure you'll make just the right choice for your decorating tastes...and if not...it's just paint, LOL! You'll do fine. You have fabulous tastes.

Your buffet turned out gorgeous. It reminds me of one that I have. I have a similar one that I painted white also. What a transformation a coat of paint makes! I am debating whether to keep the original knobs on mine or add glass ones.

LOVE the buffet and everything else - the decorations, the white sofa - everything!!! I'm going to be watching what color you go with on your walls because I'm a chicken, too, and am still living with white walls!! ...Donna

When my mother passed away she gave away a lot of furniture other than the cool stuff I inherited. I recieved this same sideboard that was hers from my Uncle when they moved. I decided to use mine for my new baby's room as a unique changing table and dresser. We have had loads of compliments on it. Mine needs painting...you have just inspired me to just do the shabby thing LOL! LOVE it!! DARLING frames too! I am not a huge blue fan but those are yummy shades I love!

Loving your newly painted buffet (I have a very similar one). Doesn't almost everything looks better painted white? Can't wait to see what colors you come up with for your rooms. :)

i love your site. all the barn wood is wonderful! if you are still thinking about paint colors, benjamin moore has some really nice pale grays (gray cloud, bunny gray, marilyn's dress). you might like them. :)

It took me over 5 years to paint walls and now.....I wish I would have stayed white!

It goes with everything.....and looks so fresh. Most of my walls are Navajo
White....sort of French Vanilla :)

I am such a chicken when it comes to paint.

I really like that chippy end table....and your buffet too.

Happy Halloween~Sheri
