Rock-a-bye Baby

Did I ever tell you how talented my mom is? Well, I will just let the pictures do the talking...

Someday I will learn to sew... (keyword "someday")

We found the cradle at a little boutique shop but it was in desperate need of a skirt and bumper! So it was Mom to the rescue!
I just fell in love with the fresh seafoamy green damask fabric. And it's great because it will work for a boy or a girl!

We ended up velcrowing the skirt underneath the cradle so it's easy to take on and off if I need to (haven't needed to yet though!)

All that work for this little thing...

And here she is inside the cradle happy as can be. I think she likes it : )

It's nice to know people with talent!

Oh what a sweetie your baby is! I love the color on the bedskirt. Your mom did a great job. I'm a real newbie when it comes to sewing too. I hope to learn how to sew with experience:) I hope you have a wonderful day.

What a sweet little angel you have there. I have never seen a princess cradle before. I know that is why she was smiling so. An Angel princess has to be a happy baby. Thank goodness mom can sew.. It is a job well done and should be in a magazine.. Wonderful job.. Just a new blogger friend passing by. Sheila

Wow - you are one lucky girl to have such a talented mom. The cradle bedding is just gorgeous and so is your little daughter. She is also one lucky little girl to get to sleep in such a pretty bed. :)

Beautiful crib and baby... What color paint is the wood on your white sofa chair that baby is resting on. Thank you.
